Christianity Today has an article about airplay for female artists. Here: http://tinyurl.com/2boy47n
They ended the article saying that it might only be a trend and it'll swing back to include more females. Really? Maybe.
I chuckled at that part where they basically said the female listeners have crushes on the male singer-songwriters. Probably true.

It's true, although I think in the past year, we've at least had some big hits from females... specifically Britt Nicole, Francesca Battistelli, and Natalie Grant. Meredith Andrews and Kari Jobe as well. New artists like Kerrie Roberts and Heather Williams show promise as well.
